Dr. David L. Castellano is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been a clinical instructor at New York University School of Dentistry since 2002. At the Rosenthal Institute, Dr. Castellano teaches restorative techniques to practicing dentists and residents in both an over-the-shoulder and hands-on format. He also lectures on topics such as aesthetic dentistry, dental materials and occlusion. He is an advisor to several dental manufacturers and a beta site tester for new materials before they are brought to the market.
Dr. Castellano is President of the M.A.D.A. study group and President of the Metropolitan Academy of Laser Dentistry. He is the former Vice-President of the East Coast Laser Symposium and a contributing editor to General Dentistry Magazine. He has recently been appointed to the National Dental Practice-Based Research Network to conduct leading research for the National Institute of Health in Washington D.C.
Dr. Castellano also maintains a private group practice in Warren, New Jersey.
