Friday, October 16, 2020 - Dr. Mauricio Lavie presents: All-On-4 Dr. Lavie also serves as a clinical instructor in Postgraduate Prosthodontics at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine
A truly digitally-driven prosthodontist, Dr. Mauricio Lavie will present a comprehensive approach to this contemporary treatment option. All phases from treatment planning to execution of the final prosthesis will be covered, with an emphasis on the restorative dentist's role. Digital and analog workflows will be discussed, including intraoral scanning and 3D printing as a means to accomplish these cases with ease. Dr. Lavie will also provide you with an array of options for the requisite technology to create a virtual articulator and study models, so that provisional prostheses can be fabricated, as well as surgical guides.
In the afternoon, we will be given a short presentation by Michael Acquaviva CDT on the permutations of the All-On-4 procedure, as well as the lab’s role in the chairside restorative facet on the day of surgery. Following that, you will all do an in-vitro conversion of an All-On- 4 case. Models will be provided to each participant. Several weeks later, Acqua Dent will ship the completed models to you. These are excellent teaching aides to be kept in your offices for case presentation.
