Course Summary:
Dentistry is an ever-evolving profession. Our clinical knowledge base is continually growing, and restorative and
regenerative materials and techniques are constantly improving. Technological advancements are also coming at a very
rapid pace, including new data acquisition and manufacturing workflows. This evolution is not only changing what is
possible in our day-to-day practice of dentistry, but it is also creating a paradigm shift in how we communicate and
relate to our dental laboratories.
This course aims to give participants a comprehensive overview of current technologies, and how they can be practically
applied to a contemporary dental practice. A broad range of disciplines will be covered, including digital scanning
techniques, 3D printing, and 3D milling. Also to be discussed is the effective utilization of CAD design programs for
diagnosis, treatment planning and execution of complex interdisciplinary cases. Lastly, the newest concepts in implant
restorative dentistry will be reviewed.
This course welcomes dentists with a varied range of “digital dentistry” experience. Whether you are a novice thinking
about taking the leap into digital dentistry, or whether you already are proficient with an intraoral scanner, this course is
